From the first call on Friday to the final medal presentation on Sunday — the Championships in full focus.
Shooting the national championships means covering heats, finals, field events, and ambient atmosphere all at once. I mapped a tight schedule: morning call at field events, mid-day hurdles and sprints, twilight 1500m and relays.
The brief from Athletics Ireland was to deliver a versatile content package — hero stills, press-ready imagery, vertical reels, and short interviews with national champions.
Key moments: the women’s 400m showdown, the men’s 5k tactical battle, and the relays — always the relays. I positioned at the final exchange, then sprinted to the finish to capture the anchor leg lean.
